Project Lilac philanthropy

Our mission: Everyone deserves a safe and healthy home.

With your support, the Project Lilac program donates sheets or home-related items to domestic violence (DV) survivors at safe homes, after-school programs or food banks. This effort is funded by a portion of retail profits. We believe that it is a social responsibility to help the 1 in 4 people affected by and those who survive domestic violence.

Project Lilac was a 2022 Anthem Award Winner (silver) for donating over 150 sheet sets to safe houses connected to the Joe Torre Safe at Home Foundation.

WHY? Survivors need a fresh start. They often flee with few belongings or the clothing on their back. We aim to rebuild dignity and self-esteem so these brave survivors have a healthy sleep. When they arrive at the safe house, they have a NEW set of sheets in lilac that they can keep, instead of sleeping on a bare mattress with their children.

WHERE? A safe house is off-the-records, like the underground railroad, for survivors. Individuals and organizations partner to fund and ensure a safe place when a DV Survivor has the courage to flee from an abusive situation. It can be a group setting or individual living space with scaled rent fees. We provide items direct to 501(c)3 organizations.
