Importance Of Sleep

Sleep is the most important to-do on a daily basis. We spend one-third of our lives sleeping and your health depends on a quality  experience. Our CLEAN DESIGN HOME® brand is focused on allergen aware living so you can learn more about building the foundation to have a restful sleep.

CLEAN DESIGN HOME® is founded and curated by Robin Wilson,  a nationally recognized expert in hypoallergenic and eco-friendly  design. For more than two decades, she has advocated for consumers who lead allergen or asthma affected lives. Her solution has been to create and curate a line of products including pillows, bedding basics,  comforters and blankets are highly ranked. In fact, the legacy brand called ROBIN WILSON HOME has sheets ranked #2 by COSMOPOLITAN Magazine (Jan 2021)

PILLOW HEALTH

WHAT IS THE RULE OF 3's?

Developed by Robin Wilson, the Rule of 3's is a CLEAN DESIGN HOME® protocol that guides you toward pillow cleanliness. Did you know that most people keep pillows an average of six years? Without regular cleaning, your pillow can become an  allergen haven with pollen, dust, etc.  For wellness, maintain your #healthysleep space by:

  • Wash your zippered pillow protector every 3 weeks ; wash linens weekly
  • Wash down alternative pillow every 3 months
  • Replace pillow every 3 years

Three areas create a CLEAN DESIGN HOME® sleep experience

  • CLEAN: minimize allergens; wash linens weekly
  • DESIGN: lighting, noise cancellation, calm colors
  • HOME: basics like a supportive mattress, layered bedding, air purifier, temperature, pajamas

Make sure that your circadian rhythms are uninterrupted by using light-blocking window shades. When using an air purifier or humidifier, clean the devices/filters on a regular basis and other solutions, you will be on your way to allergen aware living!

Three sleep types - back, side, stomach - and most of us are combination sleepers. Determine the best pillow for you.

  • BACK: medium support
  • SIDE: supportive
  • STOMACH: minimal support; soft and flatter

Minimizing allergic triggers can improve your sleep by lowering  congestion, which can lead to snoring, wheezing or sneezing.
